The Divorce And Separation Centre for Advice (DASCA) are a not for profit organisation. This site has  been created to support adults, children and extended families in amicably resolving matters when relationships breakdown, you don’t have to be married or in a civil partnership to seek help, many of you may simply have been in a relationship which has now ended and there are matters which you need help with.

Whatever it is DASCA is here to help, we are working with several major charities and other organisations that can offer advice and support specific to your needs.

Divorce and separation can be the most stressful and traumatic times of your life, you will experience many different emotions in varying degrees including anger, sense of loss, depression/anxiety and many more. The purpose of this website is to guide you through all those difficult times and put you in touch with the various organisations that are able to help.

Whether you are an adult, teenager, child extended member of the family or just worried about someone you know DASCA aims to help alleviate those concerns by offering practical advice, factsheets and other points of contact where you ca get the help you need.

We don’t want to overload you with information and complicated terminology, our aim is simply to provide the basic information and refer you right people who will help you through this difficult time.

Our site is filled with useful links, factsheets and other areas where you can find help, including books, self-help guides and other organisations that can guide you through these very difficult times.

Divorce is a life changing event even in the rarest of circumstances when the matter is handled amicably. Therefore make sure that you have considered the alternatives before reaching your decision​

Now that legal aid has all but totally been withdrawn form family matters DASCA is also working with a variety of individuals and institutes offering free and impartial advice, guidance and support.

Whatever problems or issues you may face through these very distressing and difficult times, we look put you in touch with the people or organisations that are ready to help.
